GWSmith
Start today at a new Job!!! With my swimming pool business halted for the year with the weather...I tried to get pretty much anything here locally to help through the winter. Well the Boss just called and I start today at 2PM:cool: Back to the line of work I had as my first job ever...Meatcutter. I can do this job with my eyes closed...but probably should'nt try that:D The 5 minute drive from the house will be tough but I'll suffer through! GWSmith
Interesting Twist...LOL Well...That took a whole day:D They made me the Deli/Kitchen Manager instead of a MeatCutter. Had a great first day and found the equipement in good working order and clean...and it was that way when I left tonight too;) Worked up a menu for the weekly specials and made an order for what I needed for supplies. Made a few changes in the menu for tommorrow and got all the prep done. I end up training the new person in the morning:eek:...LOL Kind of a suprise but Bring It On...it's My Kitchen Now! I started my own Swimming Pool Service Business in the spring of this year(installations of pumps and filters, cleaning/maintenance, and supplies). I did well financially with that and made a profit, paid the regular household bills, and paid off all the equipement/supplies I bought throughout the year. During the summer I was working 12-14hr days 5-6 days a week. Needless to say with winter now here that business has stopped. I wanted to stay working so that other bills could get taken care of and paid off;) When I interviewed the other day I informed the owner about the need to be off during the time my Father goes hunting. I now need to be there to assist him just for his safety. He had no problem with the time off(all thanksgiving week) and even stated that he respected me for doing that. I had to come back home and take back some of the venison I had and cook a little wild game meal for him...Geuss the recipes worked I got the job:D

GWSmith
You're the pool boy everyone talks about! ???? Sweeeeet. Not exactly:o...that was like 25 years ago in a different life. The word of mouth advertising I get now is slightly different I'd imagine:p:D It's more like "He's not much to look at...but he know's the pool business better than anybody else around here"!!!
