NY, region 6 meetings!!!!

I recieved a e-mailback from the DEC. It lists the dates, and places which these meetings will take place. Here it is.

The public meetings in Region 6 will be as follows:

Feb 16- New Hartford, H.S.,Oxford Rd.

Feb 17- West Canada Valley H.S., Newport

Feb 23- State Office Bldg Auditorium, Watertown

Feb 24- Canton H.S., State St.

All are scheduled from 7-9 P.M.

To answer your question, the Department is proposing to open the Southern Zone archery season earlier, but also add a week of muzzleloader hunting beginning the third Saturday of October. The proposal was developed based on hunter input we have collected over the past several years. We fully recognize that hunters will have a range of views on all or portions of the proposal. That is one of the reasons we are seeking additional input. Please do come and share you views.

As for the hunter input, I have not heard one hunter agree with the proposals. So how could hunter input have the DEC make such a ridiculous proposal.

im a muzzleloader, archery, and shotgun hunter and i agree with the proposed changes.........but ill be at the region 9 meetings not the region 6 cause i hear tomato does not come out of camo that easy......
