mathews4life
Thinking about changing my sight and rest on my bow? any suggestions....i'm shooting an older model truglo sight w/ tritium pin and whisker bisquit rest
backwoods07
I love the whisker biscuit! You don't have to worry about the arrow falling off the rest. I'd stick with it, but if you absolutely have to change, Trophy Ridge's Drop Zone (i think thats the name) is a pretty quality made rest. NY_Bowhunter14
a Trophy Taker Drop Away rest is the way to go... as for a sight, i have no idea, i have an older sight myself, so can't help ya much there...
The Kid
trophy ridge drop away,, for a sight i would choose a trophy ridge V-Drive
wildthing
I love the whisker biscuit rest...never have to worry about my arrow. Also...in case you are stalking or walking to from your stand during the rut...you can easily keep the arrow knocked and walk. I have a Cobra Boomslang...and really like it. 4 pins...comes in black and camo (Realtree) and the fiber optic pins stay lit for a good while... As a follow up to my earlier comment...the Boomslang site I have also was only about $60...with camo...the all black is closer to mid-low $50's. Again...a really niec site for a very reasonable price.

Chrud
For a rest, take a look at Schaffer. The MAT-1 is designed specifically for Mathews bows. http://www.schafferarchery.com/
VermontHunter
Of course realizing that most hunting equipment is a personal preference thing ... I like either the (whisker biscuit rest - which I use ) or the QAD Ultra Pro rest .. and for the sight I like the Copper John 5 pin ,,, or any of the G5 sights that are available .. Adjam5
I recently changed earlier this season, from a Tru-Glo single pin sight to a 3 pin(.029) G5 Optix sight on my Mathews Outback. The Wisker bisquit is a good rest for fast bows. The amount of speed you lose is negligible, but it is hard on the fletch. Thats the trade off. I still use a prong type rest, a NAP Quicktune 3000. But I am looking at the Schaeffer drop away for next season. Whatever rest and sight you go with, make sure it is micro adjustable for fine tuning. Eric
Trophy Taker Drop Away and Copper John Dead Nuts 3 Pin is what I use. I have never used a whisker but here they are pretty nice. I love my sight though with the afterburner light addition.
ohiobuckhunter
i would look at the hostage rest you get the benefit of the whisker bisquit without losing the arrow speed or tearing up your fletchings as far as rest i always us tru-glo 3 pin
Buckeyenut
Trophy Taker Fall Away rest and a Spot Hogg sight- Both are very high quality and reliable.
Illinois59
Just curious. Why are you changing your sight and rest?
Tony
i agree with the post above. Why are you changing? what your currently shooting is just fine. are you having problems? for me i only shoot the original Trophy Taker drop away and a Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg-It. it has 5 steel pins and .019 fibers. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Like Vermonthunter said, it is all personal preference. I have a couple rests, the Muzzy Zero Effect, and the ripcord. I have a hard time deciding which one to use, they are both great IMO. As for a sight, there are a few out there that I suggest looking at...Extreme sights and G5 are nice. I picked up an Extreme earlier this year, very impressed by the brightness. Again, it is all personal preference, but it always helps to get some suggestions
