Ok, let's say Obama wins. What do each of you plan to do?

First, I plan to fly my flag upside down. Official flag protocol allows for such when in a state of distress or danger.

Then, I plan to buy whatever guns and ammo I think I want/need to stockpile before they are taxed or legislated out of existence.

And, no. I'm not a right-wing nut or extremist. I've spent 38 of my 55 years serving my country in the military or public service.

I was kinda under the impression that our Constitution required no new ways of thinking...So the only way I will take the comment of "old ways of thinking" is someone who is not yet educated enough in the history of this country, and is hopping on some young, hip, bandwagon b.s. that comes with Obama. Point is, history repeats itself, and if you want advice you ask someone who has been there. Most of the time being an older, more experienced, person. Obama hasn't been there.

As far as moving goes, I have heard the same rhetoric. Truth is I would not abandon my country. I would stick around and make sure I am doing everything possible to curb this country from heading down the wrong road. Besides, moving to another country will almost always get you immediately involved in the same scenario you are trying to avoid here.

Last time I checked, people escaped those countries because they wanted freedom and opportunity for whatever reason. So they came here. I see no reason to transform into this new way of thinking.

LMAO!!

I actually have thought the same thing about the guns though. Too bad I can't afford to buy any right now.:(

This(stockpiling) is already taking place from what I am hearing around here. People are very concerned, and in my opinion for good reason. I always make it a point to stop and talk with the wal mart sporting goods manager here when I get into the store. Talked with him here just yesterday morning and we got on the topic of ammo, I was picking up a couple of boxes for my daughters .243. He said his ammo sales have skyrocketed well beyond what is normal this time of year and that he is having trouble keeping the shelves stocked, also said he is having unusual waits with getting some common ammo in from the warehouse, so apparently this is not happening just here.
