Turkeygirl
I leave in an hour for day two of clinical (have clinical twice a week) and I'm sick. Yesterday at clinical I didn't feel quiet right but figured I was just tired, well got home last night, my ythroat was a little funny, woke up this morning with a stuffed up nose, throat still a little scratchy, and overall I have that weak, sick feeling. Going to take some vitamins, tylenol, stuff my scrubs with tissues, and get on with it. I get one day off from clinical, but I'm waiting to take it in 2 weeks, because I start pysch rotation at another hospital and have to drive about an hour there, so I don't want to do clinical one day at my usual place then get home late and go the next morning to another place, so I'm taking a day off then. I think it's this dumb cold the neighbor had when we were hunting with him, then Andy had it last week. Hopefully the instructor understands, lol, and it's a low key day. Another girl was feeling under the weather in clinical yesterday also, must be that time of year.

Guest USA
I had cold symtoms a couple years ago and it was suggested by a pharmacist to take Cold-EEZE. It's a lozenge you take every 2-4 hours that has Zinc, Gluconate, and Glycine. It reduces the duration and severity of the common cold by supercharging your immune system. The stuff really works. Found it Walgreens.
wtnhunt
Ditto with Tink on the vitamin C. Hope you get to feeling better soon Ruth. We went through a stomach virus here last week, hope you dont get it too. Everyone in our house got it, the younger kids got over it within a day. I was the last to get it and it lingered for about 36 hours.
