swampbuckva Posted November 2, 2008 Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 Hey Norm I sell guns here in Va and there are two different .17 caliber cartriges one is the 17 remington,the other is the new .17 Fireball by remington the new Fireball is the way to go it is a screamer you can find it in the Remington 700 rifle Probobly hard to find ammo for on the shelf in most stores can is avalible on order.Hope this is of some help just look at the Remington website!!!
