I have used an Ol' man Tara air elite for years but they dont make it anymore and i need a few more stands. What i am really looking for is all day comfort. bghunter777 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 I have hunted all day out of my summit climber last year opening day of WV season 4300 ft in elevation 32 degrees 20 mph wind steady with sleet rain and snow throughout the day. needless to say a long day set up after a 4 mile hike near the Cranberry glades area near richwood. abt a half hour b4 light until dark. I own several climbers and each has their purpose (yes I love my summits too) but none of them compare to the comfort of the Treelounge for long duration hunts and for those cold rainy days, there's nothing like a roof over your head in a elevated box stand.
