wjr
I purchased a Summit Goliath climber about 5 years ago and it has been about the best, most comfortable stand I have ever owned. Last week the plastic cover on the cable really started coming apart, so I cut it off and replaced it with new Summit shrink tube. Now the stand makes an unbelievable amount of noise when your climbing and continues to squeak every time you move or even breath. Any ideas on how to get rid of this problem would be much appreciated. I now wish that I would have spent the extra $15 and purchased a new pair of cables.
