Rayzorp
Hi all, I'm looking for a nice hard case for my Drenalin, it measures about 37" tip to tip. I like the Plano camo, just want to make sure it fits. I know Cabelas are easy to work with returning, but if I could avoid the bother,, Can anybody recommend one? Like always, thanks !!! Cybertech_hound819
i have a drenalin and i have been using the skb hard case for 3 years now. the slim limbs with the skb dont hold the bow so tight. i took a cunk of foam out of one of my gun cases and made it fit so the bow wouldnt slid around. Skb arnt the cheapes but they will pay if anything happens. iv been on 3 trips and have yet to have anything happen.
wtnhunt
Don't have a drenalin, but do have a plano case, and it is ok. The inside of the case I have is 41 inches.
RangerClay
Don't have a drenalin, but do have a plano case, and it is ok. The inside of the case I have is 41 inches. I have the Plano case too. It is a nice case for the money. I don't think I'm going to test it at an airport but it more than does the job for me. Swamphunter
I got this one by Plano (the Pro 44), and I used it when I went to Saskatchewan. Air Canada destroyed it and almost put a hurtin' on my hunt as my broadheads were flailing around loose when I got it. After 15 minutes of close inspection, and waxing the string and drawing the bow, I felt relatively sure it was o.k. I have to buy a new case now for my antelope hunt in Wyoming. My next one will be one like this...
Adjam5
I have to agree that the SKB cases are the toughest ones yet. My son and I went to Texas last March with SKB cases, and all went well. The SKB withstood the gorrilla bag handlers test and the weapons shot true after the trip. I think they make a paralell limb case specifically for bows like that. These cases my friend said, he has seen them in Iraq to house certain delicate items. Might be worth looking into. It is a rifle case, but the bow might fit. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/STORM3301-1.html Here is a SKB case on E Bay http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-SKB-Parallel-Limb-Bow-Case-2SKB-4119_W0QQitemZ350114876744QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item350114876744&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 There are 2 different SKB paralell limb cases. Make sure you get the travel one, not the freedom Model which is more like a standard bow case. Good Luck.
Rayzorp
Thanks all!! I checked out each and every link,, I need something to transport my bow locally, so I got enough cabelas bucks to get the Plano SE-44 free. I have yet to be invited to a hunt requiring me to get on a plane,, but if ever (and I hope) I will definitely reference all the links again Thanks again,, Ray
