SuperMn106 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Share Posted November 3, 2008 Can anyone give me some going rates for a regular european mount and just to get a hide tanned? I just want a piece to throw over the couch, nothing fancy just tanned. I still have to scrap off the meat and fat from the flesh and salt it. How long do do I let the salt sit on the hide before I send it in to a tanner? Any hints or tips for preparing the hide would be greatly appreciated.
