Re: HuntAmerica.com

Well anyways I was going to say that the Realtree for is much more fun.

I was also going to say that I was talking to a guy on there that clames he has shot over 400 deer in his life on a 100 acre property and all of them with his bow. I didnt really believe him, but he told me a little bit more about it but its still hard for me to believe. He has been hunting for 23 years though

Re: HuntAmerica.com

I'm over there quite a bit, and have been for several years. Although I haven't met him personally, I have followed his and a friend of his posts that hunt in the same area. I am also from Maryland and know the general area they hunt. The place is lousy with deer....and with unlimited tags...not unbelievable in the slightest.

DaveHawk,

Why dont u take another look at what I wrote...I'm not calling you a lier at all. I just found it hard to believe...so I wanted to ask these other guys what they thought and if they maybe new more about your area than i do. Some of these guys are from around your area and they know alot more than me so I just wanted a second person opinion to see if it is actually possible for u to have shot that many deer.

I didnt mean to offend you and I never called you a lier.

Re: HuntAmerica.com

Baerbuck i have seen pictures on another site, and testimony form many guys who hunted with DaveHawk who can attest to his kills. Having unlimited tags and a long season would not make it unreasonable to kill that many deer. If he says he did, and some well respected forum members say he did, i tend to believe he has killed that many deer.

Re: HuntAmerica.com

Just curious...average of 18 deer a year is alot of meat for a family to eat. I gave a deer last year to Hunters feeding the hungry...it is a great program! Just wish they had a different way to fund it...alot of guys don't want to donate a deer and pay $15 to help with the processing fee. I would bet if they didn't have to pay anything and just drop off the deer...they'd get more deer.
