mastr001 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Share Posted November 3, 2008 I hunt in middle GA and i though the bucks would be in rut now, i went hunting over the weekend and saw alot of does but there was nothing following. the rut usually happens right now and i figured it would be early and never late. there was alot of sign on the property. trees tore up and pawings everywhere and fresh. when they make pawings does it mean. is it rut or is it close how can you tell?
