Gruden is at the top of the list for ut and everyone here is talking about him. I am a big vols fan and would love to see it happen but I dont think its possible! Why would he leave a playoff nfl team to coach college ball? I know he was a grad asistant at ut and his wife was a ut cheerleader but I just dont think its gona happen. Are people just being stupid or is this a possibility??

The talk around here I've heard is about Spurrier being pursued.................since that's where he's from. But I don't know why he'd leave SC. Money talks though........

Steve Spurrier has already made his statement that he is not going to Tennessee. He said that South Carolina would be his last job.

UT wasnt gona go after spurrier because they want another 10 or 15 year coach.

Now we are hearing Bill Cowers name because his daughter goes to Tennessee but again why would a guy that could get a job anywhere in the nfl go to the college level???

I'm from KY but I'm a big UT fan. Football and Basketball. I love Bruce Pearl! But like I said in your other thread, they should have showed Coach Fulmer a little more loyality and I hope they will see the error of their hasty decision when it bites them in the behind :(
They made the right move. The program is at rock bottom! He wasnt getting the job done ad they need a change..
