Swamphunter
I work with people who I know little about. I even serve on several boards with people that for all I know could be terrorists. If someone were to say that I hang around or pal around with these people they would be wrong. This could go on and on as politics do. At this time I'll be taking my leave from the politics forum and staying within the hunting ones. The name Williams Ayers was a household name for what he did... I have a REAL TOUGH time believing Obama had never heard of him, prior to announcing his run for office. Either way...........I have a hard time accepting his competency as president and integrity as a human being.
hogwild63
I think we saw from the election that NOTHING is going to stick to this guy because most ppl were afraid of McCain repeating the last 8 years. IMO, only the last 2 were bad and the only thing they had to complain about was the war and other cultural issues they did not agree with (as evidenced by the reversal of Bush's executive orders). BUT, we are not in the public eye as is Obama, and none of us were running for POTUS either. That is a HUGE difference

Not too mention that SOMEBODY involved with Obama, or one of his advisors would have known the Ayers name. I don't think Obama is dumb by any means, although I do think he is a liar. Yup. obama claiming not to know about Ayers' past means he's either dumb or a liar. Think I saw something somewhere that suggested the man had an iq around 140. I have a hard time accepting his competency as president and integrity as a human being. Yep, me too Don. Caught several things he said in debates or on the campaign trail that were pretty blatant. True that some things may be taken out of context and politicians do slip sometimes, but some of the things he said were simply plain and outright not true and he adamantly continued those points.
