HoosierDaddy28
I grew up in the country on a farm in Southern Indiana, but now I have to live the suburban life. I still hunt as much as I can, but now I guess I am one of those "city hunters". Just curious to see how many of you still get to live out in the country. buckee
"City Hunter" sounds so nasty I guess I'm a "Suburban Hunter", since I live right on the edge of town
Canuck2
I grew up (in a manner of speaking) in a big city and moved out as soon as I was able. Then I became countrified, having a farm for 20 years. That was a steep learning curve. I still live on an acreage a few miles from a town of 4500 residents. Guess where the deer all hang out - right in town. I watched a dandy 5x5 on a lawn from the opposite side of the street for about 10 minutes yesterday and he couldn't have cared less that he was being drooled at. At any rate, I wouldn't give you 2 cents for city living any more.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Small town here. Less than 10,000. The closest city, if you can call it that, is 40 miles to the east.

Bowtech_archer07
I live in town back home, but town is pretty much the country. I hunt less than a mile from my house, and my town is 1 square mile. There are 1500 people in my TOWN. It's really small. However, for 9 months out of the year I live in Bloomington-Normal going to college, and try to make it home to hunt as much as I can. I guess you could call me a "city hunter" but not really sure. Tominator
I was born and raised in the suburbs, but finally got to move to the country (where I'm sure God intended for me to live), back in 1993. Been out here ever since.

Dawg
Well I'm from Jasper TX which is a town of about 9000. I moved to the small community of Brookeland TX about 3 years ago which is about 16 miles north of Jasper and has less than 1000 folk living there. My drive to the property I hunt there is about 30 min from my house in Brookeland. I still hold residence in Brookeland but am currently living in Brandon MS (suburb of Jackson) but I still hunt in TX so I aint real sure what I am! Grant-KS
"I'm from the country and I like it that way." 3 miles from the nearest town of approx. 450.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I grew up in a town of about 3300 people. Now i'm an not really in a big city, but not really out in the country either. I can go 3-4 miles east and hit the big ciity of flint, and I can go 3-4 miles west and see nothing but farm land. BuckNrut
I thought the politically correct term was "city slicker". My town "grew up". Used to walk out the front door and hunt rabbits. Now I drive about 40 minutes to the woods.
lil hunter
I live in the city. Evansville is the 3rd biggest city in Indiana, with a couple hundred thousand people living here. Many of my friends who still live "in" evansville, are at least out in the suburbs, where they don't have 30 houses and a highway within view of their backyard. I'm right in the middle of everything. The only thing I like about it, is that I have never been more than a couple miles from school, and work is only like 1.5 miles away. Other than that it sucks, and I'm getting outta here as soon as I can. So yes, I'm a city hunter.lol
