GWSmith
How many people have at least one of the clocks in your home set ahead of all the rest? You remember setting it that way so you would be ontime to work instead of procrastintating over an extra cup of coffee. That one clock that when you look at it in the morning you tend to say...Oh Crap I'm late...GOTTA GO!!!!!!!!
wtnhunt
The wife does that in the durango. Her clock is set about 7 minutes fast. I think I may have a few that I have not fixed with the time change Gary. The ones on the dvd recorder and vcr's usually lose their time when the power goes off and figure I will fix them when that happens.:D
RangerClay
My wife does that too. It drives me nuts!!! Not me however, I pride myself on being punctual.
texastrophies
No, I don't do that. I want to know what time it is. I can't tolerate being late, and don't want to take a chance on the clock that I think is early is actually correct. People that show up late don't do real good around me, either. arrow32
No I don't do that. Altough the clock in my car right now is 5 minutes fast I'm not real sure why:confused:
Jeramie
I use to do that but the older I get the less I need that clock. The clock in my commuter car is set 2 minutes ahead because ive been to lazy to change it. Other than that all of my clocks are as accurate as I could get them. backwoods07
I do that on my alarm clock and in my car, both about 5 minutes fast. I HATE being late!!
c_lou
Our alarm clock is 10 minutes fast. It gives us a few minutes to wake up. Also the clock in my car is about 3 minutes fast.

Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Not I. Well, actually my clock in my car is 4 or 5 minutes fast. I just haven't gotten around to changing it. I'm kinda weird though (really no need to agree with me here:D), I think only a handful of times I have actually needed my alarm clock to wake me up. 99% of the time my body for some odd reason knows the time I need to get up, and I'll wake up on my own either a few minutes before, or I'll wake up a half hour or so early and just stay awake. I still set it just in case, but most of the time I am shutting it off before it even starts.
Tominator
Wife's vehicle is set about 5 minutes fast. I hate that. Alarm clock is about 3 minutes fast, but that changes all the time when I reset it for hunting trips. don't know why it's fast.

jbeck
Our alarm clock is 10 minutes fast. It gives us a few minutes to wake up. Also the clock in my car is about 3 minutes fast. Just a thought, how about setting the clock to the proper time and set it to go off 10 min. before you need to get up.:D:D My wife sets her watch 5 minutes fast, but always reminds me it's set 5 minutes fast. Kinda defeats the purpose huh
GWSmith
...Alarm clock is about 3 minutes fast, but that changes all the time when I reset it for hunting trips. don't know why it's fast. Got to get to the Donut Shop before all the "Day Old's" are gone eh:D I actually go by the clock in the house that is set 10 minutes ahead just so I'm early for work. I've been at least 15 minutes early most of my working life. Alot of the time, in my current line of work, you start when you get there so for me those 1/4 hrs add up;) For hunting I use the same clock at the house but have a wrist watch with the correct time I wear in the woods. I dont mind getting there early either;)...and I dont have to make a stop at the "Day Old Donut Shop" for my hunting buddies:D
Whitetail Freak Hunter
When I worked, I just had a habit of getting to work much earlier than needed to have my coffee there. I never did like that rush feeling of getting in the door just with enough time to clock in. I've always been an early riser, even now and I don't go anywhere... go figure. Shaun_300
Dad's alarm clock is 20 minutes fast. All my clocks and watches are about 3 minutes fast.
GWSmith
Dad's alarm clock is 20 minutes fast. All my clocks and watches are about 3 minutes fast. Ironically Shaun...I picked up the habit from my Father...who sets an alarm clock only to wake up every single time 5-10 minutes ahead of it. The Man's a machine...LOL He can actually, no matter how late he stays up at night, before he goes to sleep say to himself what time he wants to get up in the morning 3 times. He's within 5-10 minutes every time he tries it...it's kinda spooky really:eek:
