huntersdaughter
I am still relatively new here and last night I posted something that my son said and today I see that the post has been moved. Can you please tell me why so, in the future I know so I don't make the same mistake. Thank you.
Tominator
That topic pertained to politics IMO, so I moved it. The new president thread has been allowed to stay by a consensus vote from a few moderators because of its national interest, but as stated in there already, it has been very close to being moved also. huntersdaughter
Thanks...and sorry. I guess that I didn't scroll down far enough to see that there was a politics board. I will try and pay better attention.
Tominator
Not a problem. No need to apologize.

Team Realtree
Just like the election thread, a thread might stay in here because of the timing and relevance. Others might be moved because they won't garner much traffic and will fall quickly in this room (that gets tons of posts). However, they might get more attention in a room that they should have been in in the first place and stay up top for a long time. It's not one mod who makes these decisions. There are many involved and they decide on the best action. Sometimes there is heated debate about them, but the majority vote wins and action is taken only after they have agreed on the best decision. Tominator
I think what's important to try to remember is that sometimes moving a thread is seemingly a personal jab at the person making the post, but it's not. I know all the mods try their best to be as objective as possible, and I know when I have questions, I ask my fellow mods for advice or opinions.
