Whitetail Freak Hunter
If you want the best one on the market: "Hunter Safety System Pro Series Mesh Harness" I have one that works just fine from Summit Tree Stands there are several real good products on this web site http://www.bowhunting.com/shopping/Departments/Treestand-Gear.aspx
backwoods07
I think the best one on the market is the Fall Guy System. I still use the wind knocker outers. The single belt around your stomach
Randy
I use the Hunters Saftey System and really like it, the only thing I think they could improve on is putting some nice handwarmer pockets on it.
moreheads
Hunter Safety System has a new vest that is the bomb...problem is, they can't get them in fast enough to keep them on the shelves. These are a little more streamlined, have a cloth back instead of the mesh (the mesh is on the front to keep them cool) deep pockets with 2 other pockets in the front where you can keep your handwarmers, only one buckle across the front, zip vertical pockets on the chest as well as velcro flaps, binocular/range finder holder elastic bands on the front. I'm probably forgetting something, and you know that Jesse and I are sponsored by HSS, so please forgive. We stress wearing a safety harness period...we don't care who makes it. Keep an eye out for the new one from HSS. You'll love it. Jesse & Ginger
Leo
Hunters Safety Vest might work for you but personally I don't trust those push and snap buckles. I've used those buckles to strap stuff down before and in my experience although they are strong they don't withstand shock very well. Summits Seat of the Pants harness is more cumbersome to deal with. But it is a very secure and solid system.
Whitetail Freak Hunter
Here is a post from Mathews Forum from a user of HSS who had a save today: Fell out of my stand tonight and was saved by my HSS. ended up with just a big knot on my head and a sore wrist, and thanking god for it!! remember to be safe and to not hunt without it everybody. Also, does anybody know if I have to go buy a whole new system again? the rivets were seperated and the strap is now stretched completely. don't mind, because its proven to be that important. god bless, and thank god I get to hunt again tomorrow. Now I got a question, will this happen each and every time to a HSS System?
tedicast
I have been a huge fan of the Summit Seat -o-the Pants. A great harness, that you don't even know you are wearing. The older ones can be a bit cumbersome to get into, but gets easier with practice. This year i bought a Loggy Bayou Transformer harness. Maybe not quite as comfortable as the SOP, but it is the absolute easist harness I have ever used. Was a nice upgrade to the Carabiner from the old Summit "Ram Horn" attatchment. you can't go wrong with either in my opinion.
Eddie234
I use the seat o pants, it came with my summit stand and really have no complaints. I usually wear it to my stand, I tuck the leg staps in my front pockets. Wearing it makes it easier when I get to my stand I don't have to mess with it and I don't have to find anyplace to stick it while walking in. GWSmith
My first response when reading your question was: "Anything you get...but get it and wear it" I have a HSS that I depend on...my Wife actually talked me into buying it. The built in deer drag is amazingly easy when in use too;)
