Neb. The Good Life
I went out Friday afternoon around 1:45. With winds of 25 mph and gusts of 35. I saw the first small buck around 3:15, small fork. The next time I saw a buck was round 4:45, he was pushing a doe. he was a nice 4x4 or 4x5 with a small droptine, but he never gave me a good shot. It was about 5:00 when out stepped two doe from a shelter belt, acting a little funny, so I figured there was a buck pushing them. Sure enough out stepped this guy. He was on a trot following them and he gave me a 35 yard shot quartering away. So I let the arrow fly. This is the result.

dfol20
Congrats on the buck man! Sounds like you lincoln boys have some venison to spare now. Keep it up. I might have to ignore the ducks tomorrow and try to find some antlers to shoot at.
