I had my first mid west whitetail hunt oct.25 - 30th.I bow hunted Harrison county Missouri. I saw lots of big deer( I'm from FL. they all looked big!) and plenty of bucks.I was lucky enough to take this nice 9 point. He came to a grunt call giving me a 15 yard shot.Double lung'em and he fell in sight about 60 yards from point of impact. I used 100 grain slick tricks (man did they do the job), and as you can see Realtree AP camo.I had a great time, the county was beautiful and the people were outstanding. Everyone i met was super nice and supportive.

thanks

thanks, for the comments.

I did have a great time. this was my first hunt outside the states of Fl or Ga.

It is a beautiful part of the county and the hunting was outstanding. i honestly don't see how anyone in the mid-west keeps a job during hunting season. It would drive me crazy being at work knowing there are some true gaints roaming around.

Any way, i'm back to reality here in Fl. chasing these"small" Fl. whitetails and trying to save my money for another trip to the land of the gaints.
