new update on our 7 year old

The surgeon said that he felt like it might possibly be a re-occurence of the cystic hygromas, which means surgery will be inevitable if that ends up being the problem. It is not scar tissue. He sent her over to have an ultrasound at the hospital which was right next door. I had to leave to go get our 12 year old from school, and came on home. I just got off the phone with my wife and she said the radiologist came in and looked and the radiologist was not sure that it was not just swollen lymph nodes. Nicole was running a low fever, so it is possible that maybe she has an infection which from what I understand could have the lymph nodes swollen. We don't know for sure what is going on yet, but the radiologist was going to pull the old films and compare and talk with the surgeon, and they are supposed to get back with us as soon as they figure things out.

Really hate the thought of our daughter having to go through another surgery on her chest, but the surgeon did say if it was necessary that he could go along the same incision to minimize scarring and possible tissue damage under her arm/chest.

I am praying this is just an infection and we will be able to treat it with antibiotics. Thank you again everyone for the prayers, I cannot say thank you enough.
