Guest FARDAWG
Yep full fledged member of the worldwide known ScrubMasters. That was alot of fun for sure. So who has got the record misses this year? I haven't even drawn my bow back on a deer this year so it isn't me. I take that back. I did draw my bow back on a deer behind the fire station one day but that was just to show the rookies that there is no sport shooting at something that you can talk to when you are shooting at it. We have a heard of pet deer behind the station now. Ten yards tame that is. I'll get some pictures and post them so you can see them. Guest FARDAWG
I see you are a Hoyt man. I love my Hoyt for sure. Bought it brand new in 1991. Superslam Supreme. It does'nt even look like the bows of today but has many stories behind it and the dang thing just won't break so I can get another one. I looked up your Katera. Thats a nice looking bow. I'm a finger shooter though so I have to have that long axle to axle for less finger pinch.
VermontHunter
This Hoyt Katera is one heck of a bow ,, Yeah, I don't think this would be the bow of choice for finger shooting ..

wtnhunt
Thanks wtnhunt. So how has your deer season been so far this year? Have not killed a deer yet myself, but will say it has been a successful season. My 12 year old daughter killed a good doe on the youth hunt and I got the hunt on tape. Wife killed a 2.5 year old 6 point with the ml. Seeing a lot of young bucks here, not anything that has really interested me yet, but activity is picking up a bit. Guest FARDAWG
I'm sure you will make contact before the season is out. Living in God's country such as yourself its just about a giving. We are looking at moving to Eastern TN or western NC when I retire in about 3 to 6 years. I can't wait to hang my hose up and pickup the bow for a living. I did upgrade a few years ago though.... No arrows or bullets thrown by me either. Waiting for Mr. Big....Something like that anyways.
