MadHuntinPastor
When the does are heatin up the rain never stops a buck from lookin. Strong wind gusts can slow them down, but even that can be just what the Dr. ordered to get out Mr. Big. Can't shoot em cuddled up in your bed! BR44
Keep an eye on the scraps, the bucks check them closer instead of just downwind and also to freshen them up because of the rain. Has worked for me a few times.
Chrud
A little rain never stopped me... Exactly. A little rain will have no negative effects. Some of the best deer activity I've witnessed has been during a light rain.
tp793
It rained on me all weekend but the deer were still out moving, didn't seem to bother them at all.
MichiganHunter
when it get to be that time of year the bucks are just like the post office, Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these Bucks from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. They'll get'er done regardless
wtnhunt
Exactly. A little rain will have no negative effects. Some of the best deer activity I've witnessed has been during a light rain. Yep, have to agree with this.
Rhino
From my experience, light rain won't bother them at all. A heavy rain may cause them to shut down but as soon as it slacks off or stops they are back at it again.
jbaker
I was in the stand last evening in the rain and saw e does trot across the field to a small hillside where a buck was laying in wait for them. He jumped up and chased them around on the hillside till dark. I think the rain bothered me more than the deer.

Born4it
Before or after a good rain has always been pretty good...activity during a light rain can be awesome as well! Like was said, you never know what walked by the stand if you're at home watching Monster Bucks! Good luck, Ryan
Adjam5
The good thing, if any; about rain and the rut is that scrapes and rubs will have to be freshened up. Hunt 'em. Sending and receiving Pee mail is essential this time of year:D. I gun hunt in a wonderful dry heated ground blind sitting on a old barstool. Rain don't scare me. Winds light and variable. Tomorrow night: Cloudy with occasional rain showers. Low 51F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 70%. Saturday: Variable clouds with showers and scattered thunderstorms. High 61F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Hopefully, the bucks won't care!
