aksheephuntress
...I was so honored to have carried one of your works of art with me last week on the Colorado hunt,Ross.-Your knife I bid on, for Two-Pointer's auction, arrived just in time....-thankyou,Jim, for bringing it to me, in Gunnison....we all got to open it in the wall tent, in camp- under the kerosine light.... -although I really wished to use this beautiful piece to skin an elk.....I did get to break it in on the mountain goat ribs that I brought along with, and cooked up in camp.... -I never realized how difficult it could be to photograph a knife...-probably an artform in itself....but- I wanted to share a couple of pictures of this knife, in my hand, in the Land of the Midnight Sun.... -Ross, you are a true artist and craftsman....and I will be using it daily.... hammerforged
Thanks Family. I wish more of the pictures they took for the article had made it to the on line version, particularly Kathleen's knife and a special one that buckee has. The photographer is supposed to be getting me a cd with the pics on it. When he does I will post more of them. GW that Zaftig is one of my most popular models. I am working up a smaller version for the ladies and thethirdI has one of my Keychain versions. Talk about tiny!
