Tim Andrus
Tonight I was going to stay in and just take a break. But I figured it only comes around once a year and i can rest up after the season. S I went out in the warm 50s light rain got to the stand at 3pm . And at 305 pm shot a big ol doe . So my antlerless tags are filled and gun season starts saturday. She was at 25 yards ran 50 and piled up. i got down grabbed my arrow ,cleaned it off and renocked it. Saw 12 deer in all passed ona 115 in 8pt 20 mins later . All in all a good night. Now the freezer is full with 2 and waiting on a buck from NY or illinois sorry no pics since its warm I got the hide off her to cool down and tomm. morning cut her up. Texan_Til_I_Die
Congrats Tim. And what did we learn from this class? All together now - You can't kill a deer sitting on the couch! Get out and hunt every chance you get. You just never know.

dbHunterNY
Congrats on filling the freezer. Mine is full from early season, as well. Although, the biggest buck I've seen all season at my parents heavily hunted farm was a small six pointer so that's what I got. Good to know you're seeing potential on your land. I hope it makes it through the season. Good luck on your next trip. - Dan
