Turkeygirl
Gosh, it was just one of those days where everything seemed to become a frustrating mess. First, over at college, had a brochure that we had to design on some health issue that is due Monday. Another girl and I go to have it printed out in color and the one machine quit so the guy had to use the other machine, which didn't work at first. So what we thought would be a 10 minute thing turned into about an hour long thing, so I got home later than I wanted. Secondly, since we are all ladies here, well it just happened to become "that day" we all dislike, lol. Thirdly, I get home late, still have to sight in my gun. We put the scope on, can't get it sighted in, went through like 4 or 5 boxes of shells, couldn't get the scope to site in! So I'm going out in the morning with my old gun with open/bead sights and tomorrow will try another scope on it, may have to go get more shells but hopefully not. I wanted to use the stock of my new gun and just out the barrel from my old gun on it, but I'm tired of messing around so will just stick with the old Mossberg, maybe next year I'll get a new stock for it because the wood is getting bad...keep my new Mossberg for turkey only. Anyway what a pain in the butt today...getting ready for bed, I'm so tired right now.....hoping the rain holds off in the morning. will only be taking close shots though since this is the first time to deer hunt with open sights and no scope. Love you ladies;)

aksheephuntress
....did you ever get your scope to cooperate? -(I may have missed an update on that...-I'm behind....) -also...-sometimes a bore sighter can come in handy initially in the sighting-in process, and save rounds, too..... Deb
Maybe Santa will bring you a bore sighter for Christmas. They do save the ammo! Hope your next day was better!
