Rough day, I almost saw my dad get killed...

We went out to the hunting land to try and move an elevated box blind to a different location. The box on top is 4'X4' and 6' tall and made out of treated plywood and 2X4's. It is on top of 12' 4X4 post. Anyways, My dad was on the little New Holland tractor with the bucket all the way up and we tried to lean the stand against it and lay the stand down so we could drag it to where it needs to go. As we leaned it back, the box separated from the base and the box fell on top of my dad almost crushing him except the box hit the "roll bar" and stopped it from completely crushing him. The box ended up rolling off and landing on the ground. I took him to the ER as the box hit him at the base of his neck, top of his back and he was in a lot of pain. Doc said that he didn't have anything broken and he will just have some pain for a few days. God was looking out for him and he, and I know it. Thank you Lord for taking care of my dad, I'm not ready to lose him...:(

Wow that was close and thanks for the roll bar!
We didn't actually have the top part on, it just had the post that stuck up about the height of the seat. He leaned forward but still got hit with about 5-6 hundred pounds. He compared it to getting hit by Brian Urlacher... Edited by Randy
