Jorden
I posted this in the photo room as well. I have a couple questions for those of you who film your hunts. First of all, how do you carry the camera when moving around and still keep it steady. I ask this more for when you are out west or spot and stalking instead of stand hunting. Do you just have it on the tripod and carry that or something else. Also, my second question is how do you keep your cameras warm, when it is really cold outside, how do you keep the elements from hurting your camera? Thanks guys. Tim Andrus
We usually film the hunts from the tree using a arm that rachets to the tree . When doing cut aways they usually hold it steady( most arent to heavy) and keeping them warm ive seen these covers that have pockets for handwarmers, rain is the biggest problem. watere and cameras dont mix well!!!! hope that helps some
stevebeilgard
in ground blinds, we always use tri pods. for walking, just over the shoulder brackets are good. experience is the best rule, though...
