Jeramie
I traded for a Ruger M77, Mark II, SS with Laminated Stock, chambered in .308. Doesnt have a scope. I had planned on hunting with the rifle but had an offer on it this past weekend (partial trade). Im chewing on it but have no idea what the rifle is worth. Its in great, great condition. There are a few on Gunbroker but the prices are all over the place and most dont have bids on them. Anyone?
bluelund79
I bought mine in 25.06 new for $499, stainless was 100 more, and if it is as perfect condition, I'd say about 450-500 to sell, and 400-450 for trade bait. Good luck, what are you trading towards that you'd let that go?
Jeramie
Actually its not the trade that has me interested. I trade/ buy/ and sale quite a bit. I like the gun but dont know if Ill ever do much with it. I have several rifles. However, he is wanting to trade a Remington 12ga (3") plus cash. snapper
My dad just bought a used (not sure if it was ever fired) at a local gun shop here a Ruger MKII, Laminate, Stainless in a .338 Win. He got the gun for $550. Now like I said...there wasn't a mark on this gun and looking through the bore...if it was ever shot...it prob. was only shot 1 or 2 times. oneshot
I wouldn't trade it till I shot it. Especially for a Remington 12 gauge 3 inch shotgun. Those Rugers are usually tack drivers. I have one in .223 cal. and would never let it go.
Jeramie
My "Baby" is a Ruger M77, heavy barrel, floated, trigger job, bi-pod, 6x18x50mm scope, chambered in .243. It is a Shooter. I just know ill never do anything with the .308. Its not really the cal I was looking for. Btw, the shotgun wasnt what he said it was. He didnt want to come across with the money either. Looks like I will be selling this one.
PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
According to my 2008 gun values book depending on the exact model the New in Box price is from 500 to 700.

snapper
Shame it wasn't a different cal....I have a Rem. 870 super express (3 1/2") in full camo, thumbhole stock...New in the box that I'm going to sell. Would have been interested in some kind of trade deal...but not warm and fuzzy inside about a .308!
Jeramie
Shame it wasn't a different cal....I have a Rem. 870 super express (3 1/2") in full camo, thumbhole stock...New in the box that I'm going to sell. Would have been interested in some kind of trade deal...but not warm and fuzzy inside about a .308! We could have talked too. Its a slick rifle but I have the same problem, not a big fan of the .308. I know its accurate and deadly but not what Im looking for. Shame too, I have the die and everything for reloading for this thing.
