Ohiobucks
We've got about 30 trail camera pics of this buck this fall, last Thursday the guy across the road took him at 30 yards with a well placed Spitfire.... Before: After: I know, the after photo is terrible, it was taken with my cell phone....
rhine16
Wow, that is an awesome buck! Too bad you couldn't get him... Been in your shoes though, had a 142" and a 153" killed by the same neighbor a few years ago. Had pictures of each of those bucks from July until the week of the bucks being killed. The rut will do that for you

Now tell the rest of the story about the one picture Michael has of him on food plot #2. A touch serendipitous, wouldn't you say?
Ohiobucks
Now tell the rest of the story about the one picture Michael has of him on food plot #2. A touch serendipitous, wouldn't you say? You mean the one from Nov 11, at 6:50am, when I heard him grunting with every step while trailing a doe, so I started grunting back at him, and the trail cam set up on said foodplot #2 snapped a picture, which was only 80 yards away from me, as he was looking my direction? That story? Or the story that happened about 45 minutes after that, when I grunted again to no reaction, then softly hit the rattle bag, only to find that the doe and this buck was bedded about 80-90 yards below me in the thick cover, and she leaves the hill side with him in tow? Sooo close...... That's how it goes sometimes.

At least that's what you've told me in the past when I didn't have my buck tagged come gun season.
