Looks like we have a 13 man crew to pound the puckerbrush tomorrow, including 5 RT Forums members (all also OTPG brethern). There's going to be snow left for part of the day anyways. However, the snow hasn't shown any sign of bears in our best honeyhole. Nevertheless, we'll give it our best try. If every man isn't losing blood by lunchtime.........somebody's slacking. By time I got my camera the sow made a right soon followed by the cub. Can't shoot them here in the bunny hugger state.... Video is a little choppy! Buttons hard to work with gloved hands... jbeck Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 we had a hunter take his first bear today. probably about 100 lbs. running by himself. We had seen this bear in the area, put on a drive and he came up the mountain to Mark. Not a big bear, but he was sure happy. We saw alot of tracks in the snow, but only put up the one bear for someone to see. I did see fresh tracks running ahead of us on the one drive, but that bear disapeared pretty quick.
