oneshot
People don't understand why we hunt and or trap. If they saw all the things I have they might change their thoughts. Here is a video of a skunk in the later stages of distemper and parvo virus. Keeping wildlife levels at healthy populations helps prevent animals from suffering this type of fate. But you already new that. http://s212.photobucket.com/albums/cc144/coyote6969/?action=view¤t=SKUNKSICK.flv

oneshot
I'm glad you were able to put it down, poor thing..... I always feel better when I put an animal out of it's misery, I hate to see them suffer. I'm currently working a job on coyotes that are aggressive towards people. Seems these problems are becoming more frequent.
Tominator
As much as I hate skunks for the damage they do to my lawn and trash, I hate to see any animal suffer like that. Thanks for your service to the wildlife.

Thanks for your service to the wildlife. If you're having problems with skunks or coons tearing up your yard you may have grubs that they're feeding on. Try using Grub-X before the grub season and that may cure that problem. Check with your local lawn care store for when to apply it. Hope this helps you.
