NS whitetail Posted November 28, 2008 Report Share Posted November 28, 2008 This morning, a friend of mine, Benjamin Ross passed away at the age of 28 after a battle with cancer Just two weeks ago down at deer camp, I helped his brother drag out a nice 11 point buck ( they have a camp besides ours ) and even though Ben was sick, he dressed it for him. Ben's Dad told me that the doctors told Ben to stay home and let the home nurses come look after him because there was nothing else they could do. Ben said No way ! , he was going to deer camp and wasn't just going to lay around and wait to die. Ben enjoyed hunting and life and he lived it right until the end. I was amazed when I saw Ben, he was resting peacfully in the casket wearing his Realtree camo .
