willis smith Posted November 30, 2008 Report Share Posted November 30, 2008 I was thinkin about trappin a few hogs at my property and my question is how hard is it to tap a pig. i no there is hogs because me and my freind saw tracks everywhere and we also saw 2 small pigs. should i put corn in the trap or somthin else and if i did put corn in it how easy should it be to catch one. Texan_Til_I_Die Posted December 4, 2008 Report Share Posted December 4, 2008 Corn, either straight out of the bag or soaked until it's soured, is excellent bait. Hogs generally aren't hard to trap, but after you've caught some in one location they tend to start avoiding that spot. You'll need to move your trap every so often.
