Guest Primetime/IL
I was out last night in Marion county, seen 4 does total and all where too far to get a shot. At 4:30 I had a coyote coming in on top of the ridge, as he got 20yds I let him have it. G5 Striker put a number on him, hit him square behind the shoulder and exited out his guts. Only made it about 30yds before piling up. I am really loving these new G5's:cool:
Casey
Are you shooting the new G5 Magnum Strikers?? Or the orginal Strikers. I love the Tekans. They don't get real good bloodtrails, but I usually see the deer fall within sight.
hoyt151
I agree the G5 is great. I shot a 8 pointer and he only went about 50 yards.

Eddie234
we're starting to get a yote problem here. I've seen a couple but they are everywhere. Have had reports of them in town and attacking dogs.

EKYhunter
Good shootin! If I ever change from Magnus heads, it'll be the Strykers. They are sharp, accurate, and strong. A great head!
wtnhunt
Thats cool, congratulations. Have yet to see a yote this fall, but yeah they are tough to get in bow range. Have had a few almost get close enough in years past. Only shot I have taken on any critter with the bow this year myself was on a raccoon at about 20 yards out. The muzzy 3 blade did a number on him.
Guest Primetime/IL
Are you shooting the new G5 Magnum Strikers?? Or the orginal Strikers. I love the Tekans. They don't get real good bloodtrails, but I usually see the deer fall within sight. They are the regular G5 Strikers, this is the first year I have used them. They are scary sharp out of the box and fly just like my field points.
rhine16
I'm shooting the G5 Montecs for the first time, and absolutely love them. Fly just like the field tips and are very durable. Not scary sharp, but sharp enough. The entry hole on one of the three deer I shot looks like a bullet hole. Congrats on the yote!
