Ready for Brady II?

When I get a little more time I will have to do some research on those numbers he quoted. Don't hardly think he is right, but cannot say for sure without doing some research.

Amazes me really that these people are so ignorant or misinformed that they really believe that tighter regulations are going to somehow stop dangerous people from getting guns in their hands and keep them from committing violent acts. Best as I can remember there was a statistic that showed that most guns used in violent crimes were not obtained legally in the first place and that goes back to before Brady law.

William-

I am certain that the downward trend of violent crime on a graph would show a decline that began before Brady and continued relativley steadily thorughout Brady and after the sunset, too. Of course the statistics can be massaged to yeild whatever result the manipulator wants. Looking top the FBI Uniform Crime Reports, clearly most guns used in crime were not obtained legally, and further, most guns used in crimes have historically been .38 caliber revolvers-which are not addressed in any way in Brady legislation.

Well, I can tell you this I live in Maryland and about 45 mins. outside of Washington DC where that bill was sign into act and the gun killing hasn't stopped there. Untill this year they weren't even allowed to own guns but that didn't stop then one second. So you tell me if he is right or wrong?!?!?
