stevebeilgard
only hunters are required to have blaze orange on while hunting with a rifle. the guide is not. i can't tell you why he wore his, or why he took it off, but i can tell you that mine is always on while i'm in the field guiding rifle hunters. my mama didn't raise no fool... lol well, o.k. i do have this one liberal brother... Texan_Til_I_Die
I haven't seen the video, but I suspect that they were going to leave the bull and go get a horse/quad/jeep/packframes/more help/whatever to get it out, and they were using the blaze to mark the spot so they could find it again. And I believe that would be perfectly legal since at that point they were no longer hunting.

Thats sounds pretty logical to me, but have not seen the video to know for sure
