Sheesh Chris...I did not know you had a heath issue:o.

Good news on the test results and I hope you improve soon.

I will definitely keep you in my prayers...stay strong.

I popped in here because I was looking for info on disabled sportsmen.

I will be helping out at a rehab hospital in a few weeks at Sports Expo for the disabled. This hospital is close to the house, so when I saw they were having a sports expo, I thought it would be a good opportunity to promote Archery for the disabled. I contacted my region rep for NY Bowhunters, got the ball rolling and we will have a group of members promoting archery as a activity for disabled people.

NY does not have any crossbow provisions for any disabled people who can pull a trigger. So basically one would have to be a quadriplegic to get a crossbow permit in NYS. That should change. Hopefully it will.

cinch, I've read all the post and know what you're going through. My prayers are with you! I'm glad you got good news from the Doc's vs what it could have been, just make sure you do what you're supposed to do in order to get better. No short cuts!

I was in a head-on 4 years ago and I have been trying to get them to take mine off below the knee ever since. They won't do it because of their fear of phantom pain. So, twenty-two surgeries later, I know have a pain stimulator in my back that controlls only part of the pain, the rest you just learn to live with. I'm not going to let it controll the rest of my life and keep me from hunting and getting out and enjoying what God has created for us.
