Guest Primetime/IL
Im getting the buck in my avatar mounted Mckenzie 8400 series semi-upright left turn with ears relaxed
ilhnter
Well I'm getting this guy I killed with a bow done in the upright position with no turn, just looking straight ahead. This is my wife's 2nd deer she's ever killed, but the first one with a rack, so of course she wants it mounted which is cool with me. She is getting him done in a semi upright with a left turn. Tominator
I am also getting mine done. I got a question though, how do you all decide on what your going to go with? Thanks I decided based on the 2 deer my buddy Ohioucks shot in '06 and '07. The guy that did these two mounts is the same guy that's doing mine. I also went with the taxidermist's suggestions on what he thought would look good.
PA_Spike_King
This will be my first mount so thanks Chris, I will ask the taxidermist also.
RTF
I wish you all lived in my neck of the woods. Many bucks shot up here but no one can afford to get them mounted. The economy has basically killed my business. May have to shut down for good.

Randy
I am also getting mine done. I got a question though, how do you all decide on what your going to go with? ThanksThe first one or two, I tried to figure out where I would hang them and decide which direction i wanted them to face. From there, it's a crapshoot. I'm personally out of room and just tell the Taxi, "I want something different than what I already have." Here's this years archery buck and I can't even remember what I told the taxidermist to do with it...
Mach1
Semi upright, left turn. I think I'm having one ear in the alert position and the other turned back. I chose this position because I've already got a mount facing right and another that has a very slight left turn, both full upright. I needed some balance on my wall. Guest CSRoth
Todd's getting his buck mounted this year. Full sneak to the right (we think it's the right, LOL, we can't remember!)
bulldawg
Getting my 8 done in the full sneak, slightly left look. That's the way he was when I dropped him at 70 yards. He will look good that way. Memories...... Dawg
jwittkopp
I am going with the McKenzie 8400 Series which is a semi upright off set. I went with the left turn. My brother has this mount on his 14 pt and it looks really nice with big bodied deer. I was considering a pedestal but decided not to due to space. The next 11 months will be restless. I can't wait to add him to the group!
USAFbowhunter
I am getting my buck from this year done Upright and looking right. My 3 other mounts are all upright one is straight one is left and one is right so this will be number 2 looking right and I had him looking right so you can see all the junk on his right side better.
