colorado bob
It's that time of year---planning out of state hunts. I'm going to Kansas for an Eastern, 1st weekend in May. That will hopefully be 3/4's of the slam for me. Plus my Colorado Merriam's hunt. Someday, I'll go to Florida to complete the slam. Hope about you? I'm still waiting to hear if they are going to take turkey hunters this spring. Last year they didn't due to 2 bad hatches back to back. Fingers crossed for this spring. Dakota
I've got a two tag hunt for Merriams in the Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming with Jim Zumbo. I was dissapointed this fall, my outfitter cancelled and I had to eat two tags. Still haven't bagged a bird yet. Dakota
pendog
would like to go for rio's somewhere. Anyone know a decent outfitter I went here for my Rio's http://kansashunts.com/turkey%20page.htm The three of us took 6 Gobblers in 2 days there, Dan was a great guide as well. He let us call our own birds and cover lots of ground, a nice guy too. I would not hesitate to go back to him. We are on the turkey page in the green pics, we took a triple and the second day i scored on a nice three year old Rio. Good luck!! I am headed to South Dakota to fill my revenge tags this year, went several years ago only to have a gun malfunction that cost me two huge Merriams. That wont happen this year as i will be taking more than one gun;)

woodsman2230
I'm going down to be a guide at the Hunting for a Cure event in Tennessee. I'm not hunting but I am taking a young kid from St. Judes out, which is better than me being behind the gun. But, the week before I will be hunting northern Mississippi with my girlfriend's cousin on his lease. Then I will be over in Ohio a few times also. Its going to be a good season. Covehnter
Reports are too good in FL not to go. . . . so i guess i'll have to get down there for a bit. Hopefully get back out to OK for a bird if my dear ole bud can find me a turkey come April. Hope they can find a weekend to get to Ga again too. Got plans falling into place to get a pro-rated lease for turkey in Alabama is year, that'll be too much fun. If the stars align just right and a friend can come through with some delta buddy passes we'll get back out to SD for a Merriam. . . . or somewhere callin at something, maybe WY. And of course i might sneak up on one in Georgia.
