nativetexan
Well, this week started out crazy, and has since settled down. It all started out with the utmost excitement on my part because my wife finally bought off on me buying a new truck. I found one and bought it. A 2007 black Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 quad cab. Had it less than 24 hours and had to take it back to the dealer. I got home with it about 11 p.m., went to bed, got up and went to work and found out I have orders to Spain. Which I am EXCITED about. Wasn't exactly excited that I finally got the truck of my dreams and had to return it for a Volkswagen Jetta because it won't fit on the roads over there, but that's a man thing. Anyhow, after looking at the pro's (great hunting, great fishing, and of course the ability to travel all over Europe) I am ecstatic. We leave in May, and will be there for a minimum of three years. nativetexan
Thanks Steve...I am sure I will enjoy it. There are so many opportunities for just plain ol adventure that I am chomping at the bit to go now. Can't see myself getting into any big game hunting over there (simply because of expense) but there is plenty of small game hunting. I'm not taking any of my guns with me because of the huge amount of paperwork that I will have to do, but instead I am going to buy one hopefully when I get there. Here is some info for any of you who may be interested... http://www.spanish-living.com/regional/sports/sports-spain/sports-spain_hunting.php I would like to go on at least 1 Ibex or Chamois hunt while I am there, but that is going to take some saving on my part. Either way, the base is right on the water so there will be plenty of fishing opportunities also. Can't wait! Anyone here ever hunted in Spain?
