brudaman340
Well this morning it was real cold and kinda windy. But, like normal me and my friend got up and went out. Our one friend was driving for us and we didnt see a single deer. Oh well it happens. My friend did see 2 does behind him real early. So, i was sitting there and i hear a shot and i look and i didnt know were it was coming from. I look out at my friend way across the field and i see the muzzle blast from his second shot. Then i hear a 3rd shot and a 4th. After all the camotion i call him and he was shooting at a coyote!! That was cool i never seen one in the woods i have seen them shot though. I walk to him and we start looking and i walk in and on the other side of the bank there she was. A beautiful 40 pound coyote that took a 35 whelan 250 grain to the neck. OH MAN that thing had a huge exit hole. We went to the taxidermist and he said he would be able to fix it but, he could only do a right turn to sew the hole back together. It should be a nice shoulder mount. Definately an expensive mount $445 but, it will look nice.
fly
Congrats on your yote! That seems a bit high, but maybe not? Main thing is that you're happy with the finished product.

Shaun_300
Sounds like fun! Congrats! I've yet to shoot a coyote, we've got a lot more wolves around here than we do yotes. I plan on doing some wolf hunting this winter.
