Jakapr
The only problem with that is it took my buck the last 3 years to grow that much antler. last years sheds Sheds from 2 years ago
fly
I'm having trouble figuring out the age of the deer with the pics. One deer over three years? Is the bottom picture the first sheds? How old was he when you got the first sheds (3 1/2)?
Jakapr
deer Flyer, I had him by my blind twice 2 years ago, at that time I guessed him at 3-1/2. here he is in Aug 06 and by my blind in Nov. I have his teeth and need to send them in to get him aged. the bottom 2 pictures are the sheds from 2 years ago. Jack

Doc
I just got a great idea. Make 2 plaster casts of the skull-plate. When the plaster is hardened, use some kind of release agent and fill each of the plaster cavities with foam or some other material. When that has dried, break away the plaster and mount the sheds onto the new foam skull-plates and mount them onto a plaque. Hey the idea is a bit crude and not too well thought through, but it seems like you could create antler mounts of the 3 year span. That would be a neat thing to have.
