spcfoor
Finally on the board. Got a doe this morning. I will post some pics after I get the christmas lights hung up. She and two yearlings came by my stand around 7:30. I let the two little ones go. One of which was a button buck. She stepped into the opening and the 20 guage barked. I thought I missed. But after replaying the shot in my mind she muled kicked and ran off with her tail down. The other two just stood there. They trotted off but I could still see them so I just sat there and let them move off. It was about 15 minutes later and started to get everything together to climb down. Got down out of the tree and went to the spot she was standing and found hair. Walked around the corner and seen the white belly. Upon field dressing her I shot her right thru the heart. Sorry for the back of the truck pic. I was in a hurry and forgot the camera this morning.

spcfoor
the older one wouldn't even get out in the garage last year when I got my buck. But this year she was so excited. The little one wouldn't take her eyes off of it. thanks cinch Edited December 8, 2008 by spcfoor
cinch314
lol that sounds about right. My friend's daughter wouldnt go hunting with her at all and always critized her for hunting and killing deer until this year with the kid went with her and she was as bad as her mom on buck fever when just seeing a deer much less telling her mom SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT. lol
