Tonight I had to deal with some trespassers on my neighbors. They say they have permission , but my neighbor told me earlier in the season that he had no one hunting it. So I have to get with him tomm. and see . And then have my buddy the game warden pay the 2 guys a visit! they came strolling through the last hour and ruined my hunt go figure!

i had one of those early in the season. i had no idea what he was thinking. he spooked a young buck right by me, but i didn't have the best shot and it was young so i let it go. i didn't get a chance to confront him. i decided to let him go in case there was a big one in the bushes waiting for him to leave. i never saw him again though surprisingly.

I deal with that every season Tim ... I love it when they use that line I have permission, and then I say really !! funny my uncle never mentioned it to me when I stopped in no more than a 1/2 hr. ago ..:mad:

And it seems to happen just as the deer are expected to make their way to their feeding and bedding areas .. :(

Better luck next time Tim .. ;)

That stinks Tim. I have caught a few guys hunting my neighbors property. Pretty well the same deal, we are the only ones he has given permission to, but people slip in on the county property, some schmuck over there was giving them permission but did not tell them boundaries. Turned out that guy was not even in a position to grant permission and the property was not supposed to have anyone hunting it in the first place. Irresponsible on the part of the hunters for not knowing where they were supposed to be and on the part of the person who told them they could go.

Shame is that my retired neighbor will not prosecute people if they are caught back there. Two years ago, had a guy who had a blind setup about 100 yards off of my property on my neighbor.:mad: That had him pretty deep into my neighbors property and also in my line of fire from one of my stands up on the hill.:eek: That year I was after a pretty nice 10 pointer that had rubs all over my neighbors woods. That deer disappeared around the beginning of December, just before I caught the guy in the second segment of our ml season. He had shot at a spike supposedly and had not killed anything back there. He shot in the direction back towards my stand on the hill too.:mad:
