NiteRunner
I just got back from Wally World where they had some hunting stuff on clearance. This stuff I bought goes over a salt block and it foams up all around the block, looks like lava. Anyone use this before? Does it work pretty good? Sounded neat so I thought I'd give it a shot. bghunter777
just a quick disclaimer for the product i have never used it. but i would not completely write it off if you get no results this time of year deer are not seeking mineral based product as much as other times of the year. if you put it out in april-july and get no results then i would say it didnt work. That works the other way to if you put it out now and it does work you are on to something good. NiteRunner
I've been thinking about waiting until better weather, but it was cheap and it'll help establish the site for Spring if I do it now. And if I think its effevtive I might go grab some more. Kind of a trial and error thing I guess.
tp793
I've used it once really early in the season with awesome results. I put it out in the afternoon and within two days it was completely gone. Good luck with it.
NiteRunner
I see your from Ohio, the deer must have grabbed it all while on the go while they hitched a ride to various other states. We're getting some snow here today, if nothing accumulates I'll be getting it out soon.
