I use this exact gun and it Accepts magnum charges of up to 150 grains of FFG black powder or Pyrodex® equivalent (or 3 of the 50 Grain, 50 Caliber Pyrodex® Pellets) I use 3 50 grain pellets of Pyrodex.

50 cal Shock Wave Sabots with 250 gr Shock Wave Bullets are the recomended bullet for this gun with this charge.

If you put the nikon scope with the BDC reticle on it the scope will line up the reticle lines and circles in the scope for exactly this charge and type of powder and this weight and type of bullet.

I put 2.5" groups at 200 yards with this setup. Hope this helps.

Kirk;)

Ditto, except that I sighted in at 100 yards with MOA results using 100 grs. (2 Pyrodex pellets). The Nikon BDC is a pretty good scope too.

The Pro Hunter is an awesome gun. I use 150 grains (3 pellets) of Triple Seven powder and a 250 grain Shockwave bullet.

You can only use a 1X scope in Wisconsin for muzzleloader season, so I'll never be shooting at 200+ yards. But, with a 1X scope I can get 2" groups at 100 yards. I'm very happy with that, considering you can't see a 3" orange sticker at that distance with a 1X scope. ;)
