buckshot_09
decided to sit in my stand, despite the almost blizzard like conditions that's supposed to bring another 8-12" on top of the 24" we already have ... anyways, been tough hunting, not too many bucks around. about 20min left of shooting light, this big bodied deer steps out with a little doe. well, when i noticed his grey face and his stained-black tarsal glands, minus the antlers, needless to say i had a few nice words to say to him under my breath, haha. just can't seem to get a break. ah well, 6 more days left. buckshot_09
yeah, it happens once in a while that bucks drop before January, most of them probably still have them tho...we've also seen some still with their racks in late March, usually the smaller bucks though. all depends i guess.
