VermontHunter
I don't dare pick up the Alphamax, if it's anything like my Katera, I'd be wanting one and sleeping in the doghouse ..

Stay as far away from the pro shops as you can Luke, they indeed are sweet! Hoyt hit yet another homerun!!

Guest Rowdy1
I just sold my Trykon the other day and I'm purchasing a new Alphamax, If you don't plan on buying a new bow, don't shoot the Alphamax, you will want one and you will be in the dog house with me
goodnottygy
I and a friend bought my son a Hoyt Vectrix for his graduation. Big mistake! I saw his groups tighten dramatically, so I shot it. Another mistake! I talked my wife into it... after watching her roll her eyes! I am now owner of the best bow that I ever owned, so I am not even going to shoot the new Alphamax....'cause I know I'll want one!
jm23494
I shot one today at the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show and all I can say is WOW! One smooth and quiet bow. A guy was next to me shooting a new Mathews Reezen and there was no comparison between the two. My girlfriend was 20 feet away and even noticed the difference in the sound. Thank goodness for income tax returns.
300rum
I really LOVE mine I've been shooting mine for about 2 months now I just cant put it down
Casey
Yes, ladies and gentlemen the Alpha Max is one awesome bow, very smooth and silent. I like the Katera a little bit better, just feels better to me... but I would shoot the Alpha Max as well.
Dakota
I personally haven't shot it, but I saw some of the Scheels archery department employees shooting it and it is FAST!!! That thing just zips them like no other and this coming from a Mathews guy! I'm not going to pic one up to shoot, I love my Outback too much to sell it and buy a Hoyt! snapper
What kind of price are the new hoyt's? I'm sorta in the market for a new bow...money really isn't an issue...but it is. I'm also planning on building a 3 bay garage with an apartment above it...so money maybe a little tighter than normal.
