I ended up pushing a big ol' coyote out and plugged him on the run at eighty yards with a Federal slug from my Winchester 120 20 gauge pump. I shouldered my 12 ga at an opossum this year but decided it'd be ugly if I connected What kind of damage did it do to the yote? Congrats! Dakota Posted December 12, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 12, 2008 Well, it wasn't so bad with a 20 gauge slug, plus it was at eighty yards no scope, not even a rifled barrel. Several while hunting deer w/ slugs and even others while hunting turkeys, the yote's would come in on us and take a load of 4s or 5s.
